Welcome!

Update for Friends, Fans & Family:

On February 11, 2018 the world as I knew it changed in the blink of an eye, when my longtime partner, best friend and husband Bret, chose to end his life. It is probably obvious that I have not done much modeling or performing since this event, or even during the months leading up to it. What I have been doing, however, is writing about life as a middle-aged, suicide widow, single, homeschooling mom. The only way I have been capable of dealing with this new hand that life has dealt me is with humor, so much of my writing reflects this particular personality trait. Links to my writing and related social media pages can be found with all the other links to my work, history, blogs, etc.
Recently, I have chosen to dip my foot back into the modeling and Social Media Influencer arenas, so keep your eyes open for updates about all that goodness, in the coming months.
In the meantime, I have chosen not to remove any of the wording on my photos or in the areas containing text, about Bret and will be, for the time being, keeping everything in present tense. Bret will always be a part of my life, and will live on in my heart until the atoms that I am made of exist no more.
If you are struggling with suicidal thoughts, please reach out to someone you trust or call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255. You matter.

A little about me...

I started out as a small-town runway and stock photography model at the age of twelve.  My dance "career" began with ballet as taught in the basement studio of a local dress shop at the age of six.  I have been performing in one way or another, ever since.

The small town of which I speak is situated in the beautiful Northwest, where I lived for most of my early life.  In 2006, however, I finally made my way to California. Not as an actress, but instead to marry a former '90's rock musician - who is now a personal trainer, businessman extraordinaire, and my co-star in several short films . Since then, we bounced back and forth between CA and TX, where we became involved in the burgeoning Austin, Texas film scene.  We recently made our way back out west, and currently reside in the Eugene, OR area.  (And yes, I pursue - and find work - as a model and performer no matter where we land.)

Aside from being a veteran model, entertainer, and homeschooling mother, I spend a good deal of my time working on various other projects which are near to my heart, such as birth work, breastfeeding advocacy, life coaching, fitness, writing, and metaphysical studies.  For more information about that facet of my life, please see TheZenMother.com

I am always welcoming of new opportunities, particularly as an actress, model, and Go-Go / Burlesque dancer.  I also offer private Burlesque/Go-Go/Pole dance lessons and instruction.

This website showcases photos that were taken by various photographers since the mid-to-late 1990s, all the way to the present time. Some shots, maybe even prior to that. I happily invite friends and fans to keep up with me by "Liking" me on FaceBook.

Big squishy hugs to all who visit these humble pages of mine!

With Love,

~Layla Beth~
